2024 Mission
Covid-19 temporarily delayed our labor of love in doing medical missions. In 2024, I'm happy to announce resuming the medical missions!
Hands Across The Americas is please to announce that in April 2024, we are planning to take a small group of medical and non-medical volunteers to conduct a medical missions in Lima, Peru.
On this particular medical mission, we will be focusing on school age children and young adults; 1 hour north of Lima in a very poor city Pachacute. The mission will take place in a few large schools. More details about the schools to follow .
The team will consist as follow:
3 pediatricians
3 physicians
1 RN
2 LPN
8 non- medical volunteers.
Medical Mission dates:
Travel day: Friday April 12, 2024
Orientation: Sunday April 14, 2024
Medical mission begins :
Monday, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th.
(Friday 19th, appreciation dinner 7pm)
Saturday, April 20th, the team departs to USA or vacation travel.
This medical mission with HATA is 100% fully tax deductible.
I m really looking forward to reuniting with old friends and meeting new friends
on this wonderful journey of serving the poor.
